From the moment I wrote Close Enough I knew I wanted to record it, but I didn’t think I’d be able to pull it off on my own given a high vocal melody that I imagined popping up throughout the entire track. However, through becoming more comfortable with getting vulnerable with my voice, and working with Jim, it came to be.

After we finished recording, he turned to me and said, “there’s something special about this one.”
